Электромагнитное хроматическое излучение видимого, инфракрасного и ультрафиолетового диапазона, основанное на вынужденной эмиссии излучения атомов и молекул.
Вынужденное излучение — когерентное электромагнитное излучение, возникающее при вынужденных переходах (совпадающее по направлению, частоте, фазе и поляризации с вынужденным излучением).
